1.Gnome Paint
To create a simple drawing app for Microsoft Paint and an open-source alternative, Gnome Developer has created "Gnome Paint". Gnome Paint is a simple and very basic painting application that you can use in Ubuntu Linux. Well (obviously)
There are tools for drawing, wiping and selecting shapes. 'GNOME Paint' works well but there are some cases where the text function does not work and there is no way to edit the color palette so you are stuck with the default 32 colors.
2.GPaint
GPient (or GNU Paint) is a mini-painting program for GNU, the GNU Desktop Environment. The actual design is more basic than the genome paint, but it is more advanced in terms of functionality.
